I'm Justin Blank, a software developer living in the Raleigh area. I'm interested in everything, but especially:

• compilers and runtimes
• performance
• program analysis (fuzzing, static analysis, etc)
• optimization and search problems

Professionally, I'm a staff engineer at MercuryGate, a software SaaS company in the logistics space. I've worked on system performance, rating, multi-modal optimization, and the occasional security issue.

Before entering the software world in 2013, I studied math, went to graduate school in philosophy, then worked in shipping & receiving and construction safety for a few years.
